Kazakhstan’s low-cost airline FlyArystan will resume direct flights between Aktau and Yerevan starting December 16, with services scheduled to operate twice a week.

Flights will be available on Wednesdays and Fridays, restoring a route that was previously suspended, according to AstanaTV.

The Aktau-Yerevan service was first launched in 2023 but was later discontinued due to the high cost of airport services in Yerevan.

Kazakhstan and Armenia have been expanding direct air connectivity again since spring. SCAT and Shirak Avia currently operate flights between Astana and Yerevan, while FlyOne Armenia connects Almaty with the Armenian capital.
