A late-night fire at the Almaty Zoo in Kazakhstan prompted an emergency response after flames engulfed a photo studio kiosk and spread to several excursion electric vehicles.
The blaze started in a photo salon booth located on the zoo grounds before extending to sightseeing electric vehicles operated by a private tenant, The Caspian Post reports via Tengrinews.kz.
Firefighters quickly brought the situation under control, extinguishing the fire across an area of approximately 25 square meters.
No injuries were reported as a result of the incident, and authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
None of the zoo’s property was damaged. All employees and animals were safe and unharmed.
