President: Kazakhstan Backs Palestine’s Full UN Membership

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has reaffirmed his country’s strong support for Palestine, emphasizing Kazakhstan’s backing of international initiatives to recognize Palestine as a full member of the United Nations.

President Tokayev met with Mahmoud Al-Habbash, Chief Justice of Palestine and Advisor to the Palestinian President for Religious Affairs, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

Tokayev highlighted the strong ties between Kazakhstan and Palestine, stressing support for Palestine’s recognition as a full UN member and a peaceful two-state solution.

Al-Habbash delivered a message from President Mahmoud Abbas, expressing gratitude for Kazakhstan’s steadfast support. Tokayev also extended an invitation for Abbas to visit Kazakhstan.
