“Through your dedicated and responsible work, each of you makes a significant contribution to Kazakhstan’s development, embodying the qualities of true professionals. More than 200,000 people are currently employed in the oil and gas complex. I deeply value your contribution and extend my heartfelt gratitude for your tireless efforts in the service of Kazakhstan,” the president said, The Caspian Post informs via Kazakh media.

As part of the ceremony, President Tokayev awarded state honors to citizens who played a pivotal role in advancing the country’s oil and gas sector.

The address follows recent figures from KazMunayGas, which reported a 9 per cent increase in oil production along with the launch of major new investment projects.
