Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan have taken a major step toward digital collaboration by signing a trilateral cooperation agreement between IT Park Dushanbe, IT Park Uzbekistan, and Astana Hub at the Central Asia + Japan Business Forum in Tokyo.
The agreement aims to boost cooperation in digital economy, information technology, and innovation ecosystems while fostering integration of digital infrastructure and human capital across the region, The Caspian Post reports via Tajik media.
It will allow IT park residents to exchange expertise, launch joint projects, access regional and global markets, and collaborate on IT park management, startups, AI, and cybersecurity solutions.
The pact also focuses on attracting investment and organizing joint public and private sector events, strengthening Central Asia’s digital transformation. IT Park Dushanbe, opened on April 7, 2025, offers tax incentives and government support, providing a favorable environment for IT businesses, fintech startups, and innovative teams.
Residents benefit from 0 per cent tax on profits, VAT, dividends, and local taxes, along with reduced income and social taxes, creating an environment conducive to technological growth and international cooperation. Eligible entities include legal entities or individual entrepreneurs registered in Tajikistan who meet government criteria for innovation activities such as blockchain, cloud storage, and AI.
