The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, issued a series of instructions in connection with the escalation of the situation surrounding Iran. This was reported by the advisor and press secretary of the Head of State, Aibek Smadiyarov.
Tokayev instructed the Secretary of the Security Council, Gizat Nurdauletov, to work with the heads of security agencies and relevant ministries to present a developed plan for emergency measures and to address any potential threats to the stability of the situation in thecountry, The Caspian Post reports, citing Tengrinews.kz.
By the President's order, all security agencies have already been switched to a 24-hour working mode, and a special monitoring group has started its work under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' supervision.
Regional governors have been instructed to take measures based on the situation developing in the Middle East.
