Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan Set to Deepen Space Cooperation

Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are stepping up collaboration in the space sector, opening a new chapter in bilateral ties.

Representatives of Uzbekistan’s space agency Uzcosmos and Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan Beibut Atamkulov discussed expanding joint initiatives, including organizing tourist trips to the iconic Baikonur Cosmodrome, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

The sides also agreed to strengthen cooperation in space education and specialist training, aiming to build long-term expertise in the rapidly evolving industry.

In addition, the Uzcosmos delegation received an official invitation to attend Space Days Kazakhstan, scheduled to take place in Astana from September 7 to 9 - an event expected to bring together key players in the regional space community.
