Serbia is exploring a partnership with Kazakhstan to produce baby food and fruit cereals.
Rade Ivetić, Project Coordinator at Grocka Municipality, said the plan would involve establishing a production facility in Serbia to supply the Kazakh market, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
Grocka Municipality, known for its 24-hectare fruit orchards and network of private growers, has been discussing the project with Kazakh investors since 2022. While talks are ongoing, no formal proposals have yet been received.
The announcement came during the First Kazakhstan-Serbia Business Council in Astana, held as part of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić’s official visit to Kazakhstan.
