Azerbaijan’s parliament, the Milli Majlis, has ratified three bilateral documents with Kyrgyzstan covering allied relations, international road transport and the Azerbaijan-Kyrgyz Development Fund.
The draft laws were discussed during a plenary session of the parliament’s autumn session and subsequently approved in a separate vote on each document. All three were adopted in a single reading, according to Report.
The ratified documents include the Treaty on Allied Relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Kyrgyz Republic; an agreement between the Azerbaijani government and the Kyrgyz Cabinet of Ministers on international road transport; and a second supplementary agreement amending the October 11, 2022, agreement establishing the Azerbaijan-Kyrgyz Development Fund.
The decisions formalize the two countries’ commitments in these areas and provide a framework for further bilateral cooperation.
