China’s Top Lawmaker Visits Kyrgyzstan to Boost Parliamentary Cooperation

Chairman of the Chinese Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, Zhao Leji, has arrived in the Kyrgyz Republic for an official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral ties through enhanced inter-parliamentary cooperation and the exploration of new areas of collaboration.

Zhao was welcomed upon his arrival at Manas International Airport by Deputy Speaker Nurlanbek Azygaliyev and Iskhak Masaliyev, Head of the Kyrgyz-Chinese parliamentary friendship group, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.

During the visit, Zhao Leji is scheduled to hold high-level talks with Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh (Kyrgyz parliament).
