Ethics Breach Leads to Dismissal of Kyrgyz Science Minister

In Kyrgyzstan, Baktiyar Orozov, Minister of Science, Higher Education, and Innovations, has been relieved of his duties due to violations of official ethics.

The decision was signed by President Sadyr Japarov and is in accordance with the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic and the law on state and municipal service, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.

The official statement emphasizes that Orozov’s dismissal was specifically due to non-compliance with ethical standards expected from government and municipal officials.
