Kyrgyz President Highlights Turkmenistan’s Neutrality

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov has addressed the International Forum “Peace and Trust: Unity of Goals for a Sustainable Future,” held in honor of the International Year of Peace and Trust 2025, the International Day of Neutrality, and Turkmenistan’s 30th anniversary of permanent neutrality.

In his speech, Japarov congratulated the Turkmen people on the milestone, noting that their neutrality has ensured political stability, public harmony, and a strong foundation for social and economic progress, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.

He highlighted Kyrgyzstan’s appreciation for Turkmenistan’s role in regional initiatives and its contribution to strengthening Central Asia’s energy security. Japarov also pointed to Turkmenistan’s large-scale gas and energy projects as key drivers for sustainable energy supply, market expansion, and enhanced opportunities for mutual economic cooperation.
