Putin: Moscow Boosts Investments in Turkmen Market

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that Russian companies are prepared to launch new investment projects in Turkmenistan.

Putin made these remarks during the plenary session of the “Peace and Trust: Unity of Goals for a Sustainable Future” forum in Ashgabat, The Caspian Post reports via Russian media.

The Russian leader highlighted that trade between Russia and Turkmenistan is growing. “In the first 10 months of 2025, trade has already increased by 35 per cent, significantly more than last year. Russian companies are ready to implement new investment projects in Turkmenistan, and cooperation is strengthening in energy, transport, and other sectors,” he said.
