Kyrgyzstan Announces Schedule for Sixth World Nomad Games 2026

The sixth World Nomad Games are set to be held from August 31 to September 6, 2026.

The opening ceremony will take place on August 31 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan while the closing ceremony is scheduled for September 6 on the scenic shores of Lake Issyk-Kul, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

All main competitions, with the exception of the opening ceremony, will be hosted at the lakeside venue, attracting participants and visitors from more than 89 countries.

Organizers emphasized that the World Nomad Games will once again position Kyrgyzstan as a unique international platform for cultural dialogue, celebrating the traditions, sports, and heritage of nomadic peoples worldwide.
