Kyrgyzstan Completes Candidate Registration for Parliamentary Elections

The registration process for candidates running in Kyrgyzstan's upcoming early parliamentary elections has officially concluded.

A total of 467 candidates have been registered, including 276 men and 191 women, according to the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums of the Kyrgyz Republic, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kazinform.

The election campaign is set to begin on November 10, 2025, and will culminate with the early elections to the Jogorku Kenesh (the Kyrgyz Parliament) scheduled for Sunday, November 30, 2025.

These elections mark a significant political event in Kyrgyzstan, with various candidates vying for positions in the national legislature. The inclusion of nearly 200 women in the candidate pool reflects a growing trend toward gender representation in the country's politics.
