Kyrgyzstan Delivers 150 Tons of Humanitarian Aid to Syria

At the direction of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, over 150 tons of humanitarian aid have been delivered to the people of Syria with the cooperation of Türkiye and the support of Kyrgyz authorities.

The aid included essential food products such as flour, rice, sugar, vegetable oil, and other items, aimed at providing relief to those in need, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.

“This humanitarian delivery confirms the commitment of the head of state and the people of the Kyrgyz Republic to strengthening peace, security, and humanitarian support for countries in need,” the press center said.

Syrian officials, on behalf of President Ahmed Hussein al-Sharaa and the Syrian people, expressed gratitude for the support:

“…this support is especially important now, and the Syrian people view the initiative of the Kyrgyz Republic as fraternal support.”

During the meeting, both sides also discussed regional issues, existing challenges, and prospects for bilateral cooperation, highlighting the ongoing partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Syria.
