The construction of the Innovative Creative Initiatives Center has officially begun in Kyrgyzstan’s Naryn region with strong backing from the government.
The groundbreaking ceremony was led by Chief of President's Affairs Management Office Kanybek Tumanbaev, who laid the foundation capsule and formally launched the project, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
While speaking at the event, Tumanbaev highlighted the urgent need to modernize social infrastructure in the region, following a recent presidential directive.
“We have recently visited social facilities in Naryn and saw the necessity for upgrades. Several construction projects will begin soon, with a strong focus on quality - these buildings are designed to serve the community for at least 100 years,” he said.
The official also pointed out that Naryn has long lacked modern children’s playgrounds and up-to-date bathhouses. The ongoing renovation of the “Salkyn-Tor” resort complex aims to provide all essential amenities for tourists and visitors.
“Naryn will soon be transformed beyond recognition,” Tumanbaev emphasized, signaling a new era of development for the region.
The total investment in the new center amounts to 467.292 million soms ($36.902). The facility will be a four-story building with a basement, accommodating the city’s cultural and educational departments, the public library, and offices for the Naryn Regional Television and Radio Company.
