The Kyrgyz Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration has announced that Kyrgyzstan and South Korea agreed to strengthen cooperation in the labor market, focusing on improving the skills of labor migrants, enhancing their working conditions, and safeguarding the rights of Kyrgyz citizens abroad.
The agreement was reached during a meeting in Bishkek between Kyrgyz Minister of Labor, Social Security, and Migration Ravshanbek Sabirov and Chairman of the Committees in the government structures of the Republic of Korea, John Engil, The Caspian Post informs per Kyrgyz media.
Discussions also covered expanding employment opportunities and job placement for Kyrgyz nationals in South Korea.
Engil affirmed South Korea’s commitment to deepening cooperation, exchanging expertise in labor migration, and supporting projects to create new job opportunities for Kyrgyz workers.
