Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov has met with Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz in Bishkek to discuss healthcare, banking sector development, and expanded investment cooperation during his official visit.
The meeting covered a wide range of bilateral issues, including cooperation in healthcare, the development of the banking sector, and the expansion of investment partnerships.
President Japarov stressed that, despite global economic turbulence, Kyrgyzstan and Türkiye intend to boost bilateral trade turnover to $5 billion, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
He underlined Kyrgyzstan’s readiness to provide Turkish investors with favorable conditions in energy, transport, logistics, agriculture, tourism, and other priority sectors.
Vice President Yılmaz, delivering greetings from President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, noted that relations between the two countries have reached the level of a comprehensive strategic partnership, driven by the political will of their leaders.
At the conclusion of the talks, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership, expanding mutually beneficial cooperation, and deepening traditional ties of friendship.
