Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan have taken a major step in strengthening trade ties, signing a $500,000 export contract between Kyrgyzstan's Alaiku Organics LLC and Uzbek firm Alaiku LLC in Tashkent, facilitated by the Kyrgyz Trade Representation in Uzbekistan.
Such agreements mark an important milestone in boosting bilateral trade and economic cooperation between the two neighboring countries, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
The Kyrgyz Trade Representation played a key role in promoting the company’s products in Uzbekistan, assisting to establish a legal entity, conduct market research, secure warehouse space, and provide guidance on regulatory interactions.
In addition, the Kyrgyz Trade Representation arranged meetings with several of Uzbekistan’s largest supermarket chains to explore opportunities for supplying Kyrgyz goods, paving the way for continued growth in regional trade.
