Two citizens of Kyrgyzstan suspected of involvement in the murder of a foreign national in the Chuy Region have been detained abroad in a coordinated international operation.
The suspects were arrested in Thailand following a joint effort involving Thailand’s Central Investigation Bureau, immigration police, and the Kyrgyz Interior Ministry, The Caspian Post reports via Vesti.kg.
The incident dates back to April 2026, when the body of the victim was discovered in a forested area near the village of Archalyy in northern Kyrgyzstan.
During the investigation, some of the suspects were already detained within Kyrgyzstan, while others were later tracked down and arrested in Thailand as part of the ongoing case.
