Russia's Rosatom State Atomiс Energy Corporation is set to introduce 3D printing technologies into Kyrgyzstan’s hydropower sector, marking a new step in the republic’s renewable energy development.
A cooperation agreement has already been signed, paving the way for the use of additive manufacturing technologies in the production of equipment for both new and existing hydropower facilities, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
The document outlines a broad range of collaboration formats-from the joint preparation of pre-project and design documentation to the supply of 3D-printed equipment and components for interested customers.
The initiative is expected to enhance efficiency, reduce production timelines, and support the modernization of Kyrgyzstan’s hydropower infrastructure through advanced digital solutions.
