A new factory for drip and sprinkler irrigation systems is set to be built in the Moscow District, Kyrgyzstan's Chuy Region.
The production complex will occupy a 10-hectare plot in the Ak-Suu Ayil Aymak, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
The project is backed by Turkish company AKPLAS PLASTIK SANAYI VE TICARET A.Ş., a specialist in modern agricultural irrigation and water infrastructure solutions, including drip and sprinkler systems, polymer pipes, and water filtration and separation equipment.
Officials say the project will establish local manufacturing of water-saving irrigation equipment, improving water efficiency, reducing irrigation losses, and introducing advanced technologies to Kyrgyzstan’s agricultural sector.
