Turkish and Kazakh Presidents Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Relations

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke by phone on Saturday with Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, discussing bilateral relations as well as broader regional and global issues, according to Türkiye's Communications Directorate.

Erdogan said the cooperation between Türkiye and Kazakhstan would be further advanced both bilaterally and on multilateral platforms, particularly within the Organization of Turkic States, The Caspian Post reports citing Anadolu agency.

The call also included a personal note, with Erdogan congratulating Tokayev on his birthday, who turned 72.
