Uzbek, Russian Leaders Discuss Topical Issues of Bilateral Agenda

On October 14, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a phone conversation with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.

The presidents reviewed issues of further development and strengthening of Uzbekistan-Russia relations of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance in the context of practical implementation of high-level agreements, The Caspian Post reports, citing the Uzbek president's press service.

Special attention was paid to supporting the growth dynamics of the main indicators of trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as facilitating cooperation projects at the regional level of the two countries.

The expansion of humanitarian interaction, primarily in the sphere of culture, arts and education, including preparation of engineering personnel, was noted with satisfaction.
