Uzbekistan, Russia Deepen Cooperation in High-Level Phone Talk

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has had a phone talk with Russian President Vladimir Putin, during which the two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations across a broad range of sectors.

The discussion focused on the ongoing development of the Uzbekistan-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance, The Caspian Post informs via Uzbek media.

Both sides reviewed progress on the implementation of key agreements reached at the highest level and stressed the importance of maintaining strong momentum in mutual cooperation.

Particular attention was given to expanding trade ties and promoting joint projects in vital sectors such as industry, energy, and agriculture. The leaders also emphasized the growing role of regional business partnerships in driving economic collaboration.

President Mirziyoyev and President Putin noted with satisfaction the positive trends in cultural and humanitarian exchanges, which continue to deepen people-to-people ties between the two countries.
