9,600 Uzbek Tourists Visited Georgia in Jan-July 2025

Between January and July 2025, nearly 9.6 thousand citizens of Uzbekistan visited Georgia for tourism, according to the National Statistics Committee.

This represents an increase of about 3.3 thousand people, or 51%, compared to the same period last year, The Caspian Post reports citing UzA.

During the first seven months of this year, the purposes of visits by Uzbekistan citizens to Georgia were as follows:

Tourism - 8,319 people;

Visiting relatives - 1,244 people;

Official trips - 44 people;

Study - 19 people;

Medical treatment - 14 people.
