A deadly airstrike has struck eastern Ukraine, leaving multiple casualties and causing destruction in a residential area.

At least five people were killed and 12 others injured after the strike hit the city of Kramatorsk. Firefighters and rescue teams rushed to the scene as damage assessments and search operations continued, The Caspian Post reports via Euronews.

The attack triggered fires and left buildings severely damaged, with crews working to clear debris and assist survivors.
