“For more than 30 years of diplomatic relations, Kazakhstan and Georgia have become not only friendly states, but also reliable political and economic partners,” Olzhas Bektenov said.
He also noted that Georgia has been one of important economic partners of Kazakhstan.
“I would like to point out growing trend of investment cooperation. In the past 20 years, Georgian investors have injected over $400 million in Kazakhstan. In turn, our entrepreneurs have invested approximately $620 million in economy of Georgia. We are interested in further expansion of investment partnership and improvement of business climate in the country,” the Kazakh Prime Minister said.
According to him, mutual trade increase is an important aspect of interaction.
“Despite the current situation and transformation of global supply chains, we firmly intend to jointly undertake certain steps to develop our trade relations. We are pleased that the range of the products delivered to Georgia is replenished with new non-primary goods. We propose to join efforts to further diversify and expand the bilateral commodity turnover,” Olzhas Bektenov said.
