A 3.6 magnitude earthquake struck the Caspian Sea on Thursday, The Caspian Post reports, citing the Republican Seismic Survey Center of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.

The Center recorded the quake at 12:31 local time.

The quake occurred at a depth of 21 km.
