Romania has welcomed the initialing of a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia, with the active facilitation of U.S. President Donald Trump, as stated by Romanian Foreign Minister Oana Țoiu, The Caspian Post reports.

"This is a crucial step in achieving lasting peace, stability and prosperity in the South Caucasus. Romania supports full normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia," she said.
