Russia’s Kalashnikov Concern has signed an agreement to supply civilian Karakurt quadcopters to India, the company’s press service announced, The Caspian Post reports, citing TASS.
According to the company, the contract was signed with an Indian partner during the 10th India Homeland Security Expo.
Under the terms of the agreement, Kalashnikov will deliver a batch of civilian Karakurt-type multirotor unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to the customer by the end of 2026.
The company added that discussions are also underway regarding the establishment of licensed production of the Karakurt drones in India. If finalized, the arrangement would enable local manufacturing of the UAVs for use by the end customer.
