Russia has expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for its assistance in delivering humanitarian aid to Iran.
“On March 27, at the Astara crossing on the Iran-Azerbaijan border, the second significant consignment of medical supplies was successfully delivered: more than 300 tons of pharmaceuticals by rail and approximately 150 tons of humanitarian aid collected in Dagestan and transported by convoy,” the spokesperson noted, The Caspian Post reports.
“We are grateful to the Azerbaijani government for its assistance,” Maria Zakharova added.
