Ukraine Detains High-Ranking Officers in $320K Bribery

Ukrainian MP Oleksii Goncharenko has said that Security Service detained two senior officers on corruption charges, including a $320,000 bribe.

The arrested officers are Colonel Andriy Ukrainets, Head of Logistics for the Air Force Command, and Colonel Volodymyr Kompanichenko, Chief of the Security Service’s Zhytomyr Regional Department, The Caspian Post reports via Goncharenko's message in Telegram.

Investigators say the officers embezzled funds intended for constructing protective facilities at airfields.
