Ukrainian Drone Strikes Kill 3, Injure Several in Rostov

Ukrainian drone strikes hit Russia’s southern Rostov region, killing three people and injuring several others, as the conflict continues spilling deeper into Russian territory.

Rostov Governor Yuri Slyusar said that two of the victims were crew members aboard a cargo vessel that caught fire at the port of Rostov-on-Don following the attack. The blaze was later brought under control, but three additional crew members suffered injuries, The Caspian Post reports via foreign media.

In a separate incident, a drone strike targeted the nearby town of Bataysk, leaving seven people wounded. The governor confirmed the casualties in a statement published on his Telegram channel.

The latest attacks highlight the expanding use of drones and their growing reach in the ongoing war between Moscow and Kyiv. Russian officials have not yet provided detailed information on the extent of damage to infrastructure beyond the reported casualties and injuries.
