Ukrainian drones reportedly struck an oil refinery in the Russian city of Ufa, triggering a fire at the facility.
Footage shared by the Exilenova+ Telegram channel appears to show flames and smoke rising from the refinery following the attack, The Caspian Post reports via RBC Ukraine.
The strike is said to have occurred after drones reached Ufa, a major industrial and energy hub in Russia’s Bashkortostan region. The refinery was reportedly hit, leading to a fire on the premises.
The reported attack comes amid an ongoing exchange of long-range drone strikes between Russia and Ukraine, with energy infrastructure increasingly becoming a target on both sides of the conflict.
