Ukrainian Forces Strike Oil Refinery in Russia’s Ryazan Region

Ukrainian Defense Forces have reportedly struck the Ryazan Oil Refinery in Russia’s Ryazan region.

The Ukrainian General Staff stated that the operation aimed to reduce Russia’s capacity to carry out missile and bomb attacks. Following the strike, multiple explosions and a major fire were reported at the facility, The Caspian Post informs via Ukrainian media.

Ukrainian officials said that the refinery produces an average of 840,000 tons of TS-1 aviation kerosene annually, which is utilized by Russia’s aerospace and military forces.
