Azerbaijani Fencers Gear Up for World Cup in Egypt

Azerbaijani fencers will compete in the Junior Fencing World Cup, which will be held in Cairo, Egypt, from January 31 to February 2.

The tournament will bring together 383 athletes from 45 different countries, The Caspian Post reports citing Azertac.

The participating countries are as follows: Egypt, Angola, Argentina, Australia, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Chinese Taiwan, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Georgia, Germany, the UK, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Italy, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Luxembourg, Macau, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Paraguay, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Türkiye, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the U.S., Uzbekistan, Venezuela, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Ukraine, Jordan and Oman.

Egypt is the most participating country in terms of the number of players in the tournament as it is the host country, with 31 male and female players participating, with 16 players.
