Kyrgyzstan’s Bishkek Dominates Maldives’ Club HDC in Thrilling CAVA Champions League Debut

Kyrgyzstan’s Bishkek volleyball club has begun the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) Champions League on a high note, defeating Club HDC of the Maldives 3-0 in the tournament’s opening round.

Hosted in Malé, Maldives, from July 17 to 23, the competition brings together club teams from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Nepal, the Maldives, and Sri Lanka, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.

In today’s second round, Bishkek is set to face the Nepalese team, continuing their quest for the championship title.

The tournament follows a round-robin format, with each team playing against all other competitors once. The top two teams at the end of the group stage will qualify for the final showdown.
