Kyrgyzstan's capital Bishkek is gearing up to become a regional tourism hub as it hosts the first-ever Bishkek International Tourism Fair 2026 from April 30 to May 2 at Zhashtyk Arena.

The large-scale event will bring together more than 139 companies, government bodies, and international businesses, positioning Kyrgyzstan at the forefront of Central Asia’s growing travel sector, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

Participants from India, China, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan will present national stands, highlighting their tourism opportunities, cultural richness, and investment prospects.

The exhibition will also showcase all seven regions of Kyrgyzstan, featuring scenic routes, cultural heritage sites, and emerging destinations aimed at attracting global travelers.

BITF 2026 will cover a wide spectrum of tourism topics-from resort and hotel projects to transport solutions, digital travel services, and bespoke tour experiences.

Organized by Biexpo Exhibition Company and the Tourism Development Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic, the event aims to boost international cooperation and create new business connections in tourism and hospitality.

Held under the framework of Shanghai Cooperation Organization chairmanship, the fair marks a key step in promoting Kyrgyzstan as a must-visit destination and unlocking the broader tourism potential of Central Asia.

With global players and regional leaders under one roof, Bishkek is set to take a bold step onto the international tourism stage.
