A mudslide struck the Kadamjay district of Kyrgyzstan, damaging part of the Kyzyl-Bulak-Tamasha highway, according to eyewitnesses, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kyrgyz media.
Preliminary reports indicate that the mudslide crossed the roadway, disrupting traffic in the area.
No injuries have been reported.
Authorities are continuing to assess the circumstances and extent of the damage.
Earlier, the Ministry of Emergency Situations had issued a storm warning.
