Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed condolences over the tragic killing of 10-year-old Qobiljon Aliyev in a xenophobic attack in Moscow region during a meeting with Tajik President Emomali Rahmon.
Putin called the act “especially heinous” and vowed a full investigation, urging all responsible parties to be held accountable, The Caspian Post reports via Tajik media.
Both leaders stressed the need for impartial investigations and enhanced cooperation to prevent such violent crimes, highlighting the broader issue of racism in Russia targeting non-ethnic Russians, immigrants, and minorities.
