Tajikistan and the United Kingdom are strengthening academic ties through a new agreement aimed at expanding English language education and international cooperation.
The Sotim Ulughzoda International University of Foreign Languages of Tajikistan and the University of Westminster have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) under the international initiative “Acceleration of English Language Learning in Central Asia.”
The agreement was signed virtually by the rectors of the two universities, marking a new step in their bilateral academic partnership.
Under the MoU, the institutions plan to cooperate on scientific research, international education and academic exchanges. The partnership will include joint training programs, collaborative research projects and exchange opportunities for students and faculty.
The universities also plan to jointly organize conferences, symposia and seminars, while exploring new postgraduate education initiatives.
