Tajikistan, China Discuss Expanding Cultural Cooperation in Dushanbe

This week, Tajik Minister of Culture Matlubahon Sattoriyon has met with Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Tajikistan Guo Zhijun to discuss new opportunities for strengthening cultural ties.

During the meeting, Sattoriyon emphasized the importance of intensifying cultural cooperation and proposed organizing Chinese Culture Days in Tajikistan to help the peoples of both nations better understand and appreciate each other’s traditions, The Caspian Post reports via Tajik media.

The ambassador welcomed the idea, noting that such cultural events not only promote mutual understanding but also serve as a powerful bridge for strengthening diplomatic and economic relations between the two countries.

Earlier, it was announced that Panjakent had been officially recognized as the City of Suzani Embroidery, further showcasing Tajikistan’s rich cultural heritage and growing international recognition in the arts.
