Tajikistan Declares November 6 Holiday for University Students

Tajikistan will celebrate Constitution Day on November 6, and university students across the country will enjoy a day off from classes.

Classes will resume according to the regular schedule after the holiday. School students, however, will not be affected, as they are already on autumn break during this period, The Caspian Post reports via Tajik media.

This year, citizens will enjoy a four-day holiday from November 6 to 9, following the government’s 2025 decree on adjusted public holidays. According to the decree, Saturday, November 1, will be a working day, while Friday, November 7, will be a day off.

For employees with a five-day workweek, the break runs from November 6 to 9, with work resuming on November 10. For those on a six-day schedule, November 6 and 7 are days off, while November 8 remains a working day.

Tajikistan marks Constitution Day every November 6, celebrating the adoption of the nation’s fundamental law. This year, the country commemorates the 31st anniversary of the Constitution.
