Tajikistan, Islamic Development Bank Group Strengthen Partnership on Key Development Projects

Tajik First Deputy Minister of Finance Yusuf Majidi has met with Rami Ahmad, Vice President for Operations at the Islamic Development Bank Group (IsDB), to discuss the country’s major development initiatives, including the Rogun hydroelectric power plant (HPP).

The officials highlighted the strategic role of the Rogun HPP in boosting Tajikistan’s energy security and supporting sustainable development goals, The Caspian Post reports via Tajik media.

They also reviewed the current state of bilateral cooperation and reaffirmed their commitment to deepening the partnership.

The talks focused on continued collaboration in areas such as infrastructure, energy, rural development, private sector growth, and digitalization, signaling a strong push for Tajikistan’s long-term development agenda.
