Turkmenistan Opens New Air Route with Inaugural Flight from Ashgabat to Seoul

On July 14 at 09:05 (GMT+5), Ashgabat International Airport saw the departure of its first regular flight to Seoul, inaugurating a new direct air route between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea.

The airport marked the occasion with an official announcement and congratulated the passengers aboard this landmark flight, The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.

The return journey from Seoul to Ashgabat is scheduled for the evening of July 15 at 22:45 local time. Tickets for the return flight are priced at 2,924.5 manats.

This new air connection is anticipated to stimulate tourism and foster closer cultural and business cooperation between the two nations, further strengthening bilateral ties.
