The Avaza National Tourist Zone on the Caspian Sea coast in Balkan Province is cementing its reputation as one of Turkmenistan’s leading resort destinations, attracting approximately 150,000 visitors annually.
Tourists are drawn to Avaza for its pristine architecture, well-kept streets, sandy beaches, and crystal-clear waters, The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.
The area’s comprehensive coastal infrastructure - from luxury hotels to walking parks and recreational spaces - caters to both family vacations and business events.
Avaza has also served as a venue for major international gatherings, including the 3rd United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3).
Continued development of the transport network and landscaping projects ensures that Avaza remains a comfortable, year-round destination, enhancing its appeal to domestic and international visitors alike.
