Amusement Ride Collapse in Uzbekistan Leaves People Injured

A ride accident at the Bogishamol Park in Uzbekistan has left several people injured after a metal structure reportedly collapsed during operation.

The incident occurred when part of the attraction’s supporting frame failed, causing chains to snap and the ride to malfunction. A technical breakdown took place, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

At least two people suffered minor injuries and received medical assistance. However, local reports citing eyewitnesses suggest the number of injured could be significantly higher, with at least seven people reportedly affected.

Photos from the scene circulating online show damage to the ride structure, raising questions about maintenance and safety checks.

Investigators are now working to determine whether the attraction had passed mandatory safety inspections and who may be responsible for the equipment failure.
