Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan have signed a new document aimed at expanding cooperation in the film industry during the International Film Festival in Lachin.

The agreement was signed by Amil Amal, festival director and head of the Hocazfilm creative studio based in Lachin, and Uzbek producer Eldar Yuldashev, according to Azertac.

Under the agreement, films produced by Hocazfilm will be screened in cinemas across Uzbekistan, creating a new channel for Azerbaijani cinema to reach Uzbek audiences.
